Local Artist Shares Amazing Floral Digital Paintings That Have Been Created Every Time She Is Hospitalized
We have a huge pool of talented local artists who have brought creative and unique flair to their artwork. From portraits created using Google Sheets to those done with both hands and feet.
Recently, another artist caught the attention of netizens with her beautiful floral digital paintings.
Although the artwork is simply beautiful, the story behind it is sad as the 3 pieces are from flowers drawn all over a hospital room while the artist herself was sick and in a hospital bed.
Popular artist Kirin recently shared the paintings on her Twitter.
I drew a lot of flowers whenever I got sick. Hopefully the 3rd will be the last. I want to get healthy again. 🤲🏻❤️ pic.twitter.com/kPZLY3lHfq

The caption to her post reads, “I drew lots of flowers every time I got sick.”
“I hope the 3rd will be the last. I want to be healthy again.
History behind digital paintings
The story behind the very first painting was shared by Kirin on an Instagram post in June 2020.
“My doctor told me that I still had to stay in the hospital for a few more days and jokingly asked me to paint on the windows but I couldn’t draw because my right hand was swollen and stiff,” she wrote.
“But today my hand is better so I made it and showed it to him. He was amazed and would like recommend my work to the director of the hospital.”
Meanwhile, the second board was shared in July 2021. In the caption, Kirin explains, “It started with almost a week of incessant palpitations and anxiety.”
“So I went to the hospital and the doctor told me I needed to be admitted so they could do some tests and monitor my condition. I was scared and in pain, and after a few tests they found that it was caused by gastric reflux.”
“Fighting the disease alone was depressing enough, so I again drew flowers on the wall (digitally) in hopes of feeling better and completely healed.”
The 3rd and final board was shared by Kirin yesterday (January 12). The caption reads: “I haven’t felt well for a long time but now I’m back!
“I was in pain, couldn’t swallow and slept well and also had burns for months. I have a lot of ideas in my head but couldn’t draw them, but now I feel better and I’m really excited to share so many new works.
Kirin added, “I am awaiting another blood test result. I’m quite nervous but InsyaAllahEverything will be alright. pray for me please.”
Internet users pray for her to get better
Kirin’s Twitter post got a lot of attention and is currently sitting on more than 17,500 likes and 4,700 shares. Users took to the comments section to wish and pray for his health as well as praise his work.
One user commented: “If this painting was actually there in a hospital, even the sick will feel calm. It is so beautiful…”
“I love this kind of atmosphere. It’s like when you’re sick but you still find the motivation to get up and do it yourself, “comments another user.
